Sophie Morrow (they/she) is a multidisciplinary artist with a focus on text, speech and digital mediums. Their current research focuses on speech as material for exploring the impact of patriarchal structures on living bodies. Within a virtual reality, she envisions the introduction of linguistic ‘mess’ to patriarchal structures as an act of defiance.
They have exhibited both locally and internationally, and currently undertaking a Master of Fine Art by research at the Victorian College of the Arts. She lives and works in Naarm/Melbourne, on unceded Wurundjeri land.
