Britt’s art practice is an ongoing spatial experiment where line, form and space intertwine. She works with these formal elements in an interdisciplinary manner across fields of public art, sculpture, drawing, installation, and tapestry. Britt works methodically, building on unexpected glitches that unfold in these processes revealing pattern, visual illusion, movement, and spaces that gently shift with the viewers’ interaction.
Her work has been a finalist in numerous Art prizes and has won multiple awards such as the Art & Australia Emerging Artist Prize.
Britt has undertaken several international residencies and has been commissioned to create large-scale public artworks.
