Alumni student VCA Access Janno McLaughlin will be having an exhibition in August in Melbourne at Fortyfive Downstairs Gallery and warmly invites VCA members to her opening event Thursday, August 10th 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM (drinks and food), and an artist interview Saturday, August 12th, with journalist and news producer Cheryl Hall, who will be chatting with Janno about her work and it’s context.
The exhibition titled ‘Unsprung’, will run from 8 August – 2 September at Fortfive Downstairs Gallery (45 Flinders Lane, Melbourne 3000).
“Unsprung is my artistic and playful response to the past 18 months of crazy, trying to gather some hope, love and support for Ukraine in this awful time of war, whilst juggling the making of our #sunflowerquiltforukraine. The exhibition is about spring and new beginnings.”
