2019 VCA Access Student @katie__stackhouse warmly invites VCA Access supports, staff, friends and alumni to her exhibition opening for SOUND and SYNCOPATION on May 11.
‘Sound and Syncopation is an exhibition of sculpture, painting and video installation by Katie Stackhouse. These new artworks are drawn into dialogue to delve into concepts and processes of symbiosis, co-authorship and renewal, in relation to specific sites: those that have informed the formation and production of the works and the gallery space itself. Using image, sound, and sculptural form, Sound and Syncopation tests and pushes the visual and spatial boundaries between media and subject, drawing together the elements for a new experimental atmosphere.’
