What an engaging morning we had last week at Lyon Housemuseum Galleries. Thank you to Yueji Lyon for the introduction and to Siobhan Sloper, Gallery and Museum Manager, for the wonderful tour of the current exhibition. It was great to hear of the deep connections between the collection and VCA Alumni.
The image above captures the VCA Access group ‘in situ’, as part of the Marco Fusinato work There is no Authority but Yourself. A video in the corner of the room takes images of the huge carpet artwork and displays them on the screen in the room. As you can see, some of us were more tentative than others to actually walk on the art! What a sound-absorbing contrast to his current work at Venice!
