It was so heartwarming to be back among the in-person buzz of the Melbourne Art Fair. Curator Emily Cormack showed our group through the Beyond section of the fair which she had created in response to the fair’s theme of ‘place’. Sean Meilak, mentor to student Sophie Morrow this year, talked to us about his work which was featured in the main piazza space. We loved popping past some of our past and current gallery partners – it was a wonderful entrée back into enjoying art IRL!
