Members took part in an insightful conversation with Zoë Croggon, led by Daine Singer at her exhibition Pale Horse, Pale Rider last week.
Zoë shared thoughts about her inspiration for the work, a book she discovered during lockdown last year set during the 1918 influenza pandemic. We discussed where she sources material for her work, the influence of her writer parents, her study of dance, and the state of her studio – which is apparently very neat!!
Zoë is mentor to 2021 student Melanie Cobham and it was delightful to hear them discuss their mentoring relationship.
